- What is the difference between the RGB and CMYK color space and why does it matter?
RGB defines light, Red, Natural and Blue primaries, which are used on screens, television screens, digital cameras and scanners. CMYK defines the main pigment: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. These are the inks used in journalism for "4-color printing", often described as "full color printing". The combination of RGB light produces white, while mixing CMYK ink creates black. Therefore, it is physically difficult for the printer to replicate the shades the way we see them in our mirrors. A few programs have the power to change the layout / images from the RGB shadow area to the CMYK shadow area. Please change your colors from RGB to CMYK if your devices allow you to do so. By doing it yourself, you are in control of the consequences. You can get a color change as you change from RGB to CMYK. If you do not like the look in CMYK, we recommend that you make changes while working in CMYK (usually light). Usually, you should specify CMYK shadow structures that look a lot lighter than you want, considering that ink dots are "fat" when pressed, giving you more theoretical color than what you see on your screen. Be very careful to keep the history simple if there is a black or black message on it, to make sure the message stays readable.
